Freshman student move-in. If you're going to move into a dorm, now is the time to do it! Moving crews will be in the Dayton loop from 8-10 a.m. ready to carry in everything you've worked for a week to pack. Just pull up to the front door and we'll do the rest. Report to the Dayton Hall loop for your key. If you come after that time, please call the residence life hotline at (605) 770-1593 and we will meet you in Dayton Hall to give you your key. |

Transfer student move-in. Report to Allen Hall to check-in to your room. If you come after that time, please call the residence life hotline at (605) 770-1593 and we will meet you in Allen Hall to give you your key. |

Finalization. All students must complete finalization in the Rollins Campus Center prior to the beginning of classes. We will have your student ID, ask you to confirm your contact information, your medical requirements and your classes, and wrap up your financial arrangements with the university. Also be sure to fill out your vehicle registration if you bring a car (have your vehicle's license plate number ready). |

Settle in to your room. While nothing will ever be the same as home, your dorm will be more comfortable if you settle in and make your space your own. Who knows - you might even find you like spending time in your room! |

Lunch on your own. Weston Food Court opens at 11 a.m., or see what Mitchell has to offer (and try out your DWU student discounts!) Mitchell merchants and restaurants welcome you! |

Welcome session for ALL new students and families. Even if you're a fall sport athlete and you've been on campus for a while, you'll need to be here. Families, whether you came to a registration day or not, you're invited to come to this session, too. Meet the student life staff, meet our president and our campus leadership. |

Ice cream social. President's Council will serve ice cream to celebrate your arrival. Students will meet their NSO groups, and families will meet other families. |

Bowling. Gather with your NSO group and carpool to the Village Bowl for free bowling. If you're wearing flip flops now, remember to bring socks for those always-stylish bowling shoes. |

Floor meetings. Get to know your Resident Assistant (RA) and the other residents on your floor. Be sure to attend this fact-filled meeting. |

Walk-in movie. Sponsored by the Student Ministry Council, you won't want to miss the first ever DWU Walk-In Movie on the Green. You don't have to be anywhere until 10 tomorrow morning - go check this out! |

All College Church in the Sherman Center. Chapel attendance is encouraged. It's fun, plus it's a great way to start your Sunday morning. Come dressed to go right to the food drive after lunch. The First United Methodist Church members will be collaborating with us on this service, and all faculty will be there in their regalia. It's a service you won't want to miss. |
