DWU student to exhibit in University Invitational
at Washington Pavilion

MITCHELL – Danna McCloud, Mitchell, senior art major at Dakota Wesleyan, had her acrylic painting, "Orchid Moonlight," accepted into the University Invitational exhibition at the Washington Pavilion.

The show will be on display from Jan. 16 to April 19, 2009.

The Pavilion will host a reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 16. The reception is free and open to the public.

The University Invitational exhibition features artwork created by undergraduate and graduate students from colleges and universities throughout South Dakota. The Visual Arts Center partnered with faculty coordinators from each school.

A predetermined number of student artists were invited to exhibit from each institution’s art program. Cherie Ramsdell, assistant professor of art, is the faculty coordinator from DWU.
