June 24, 2009 Survive and Thrive: Small Business Education Series MITCHELL – The Kelley Center for Entrepreneurship at Dakota Wesleyan University will be the host site for a business advancement series in July. The U.S. Small Business Administration and the Small Business Development Center Network announce the continuation of their successful Small Business Education Series. These no-cost, one-hour audio/video training sessions will focus on the basics in marketing and provide some new tools in today’s ever-changing business environment. Training sessions will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursdays July 9, 16, 23 and 30 at the McGovern Library Conference Room on campus. “The Kelley Center is pleased to serve as a local host for this SBA/SBDC educational series. Creative marketing can mean the difference of a company succeeding or failing. The current economic landscape makes it imperative that small businesses maximize their marketing initiatives. This series will cover the core tenets of small business marketing in a digital age and offer entrepreneurs practical advice and training,” said Rhonda Pole, executive director of the Kelley Center for Entrepreneurship.
