MITCHELL — DWU freshmen Tamika Irvin, Denver, and Noah
Ruml, Howard, were selected Monday night to serve as beanie queen
and king for the 2009 homecoming festivities.
Other candidates were Myranda Blunt, Howard; Kim Duff, Greensboro,
N.C.; Alli Fredericksen, Mitchell; Katie Sedlacek, Scotland; Aaron
Foss, Rapid City; Taylor Hagberg, Tracy, Minn.; Jarret Janke, Madison;
and Francis Ruml, Howard.
Traditionally the beanie king and queen wear their beanies to all
homecoming events.
