Students move out – opportunity
to bag some deals moves in
MITCHELL,
S.D. — With the end of the semester comes moving and with moving
comes the discovery of a lot of stuff that no longer seems so paramount
to one’s life. Hence the creation of the DWU dorm garage sale.
Students have collected unwanted items and will organize a garage sale
from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 7, in the Sherman Center at DWU. Items
will not be priced, but free-will donations will be taken for DWU Student
Ministry Council. The ministry council provides opportunities for students
to worship, conduct small-group studies and serve in Mitchell, the state
and around the world during mission trips.
Some of the items available are as follows: couches, clothes, swivel
recliner, futons, rolling table, wooden desk, storage containers, shoes,
baby clothes, rugs, bean bag chair, garbage can, toaster, clock and Tupperware. |
