At Dakota Wesleyan University, psychology students
explore behavior from multiple viewpoints, including biological,
behavioral, cognitive, social, and cultural. Students learn
to conduct scientific research and to evaluate carefully the
research of psychologists and other students.
Psychology students are encouraged to wrestle with philosophical
issues and concepts that have been and continue to be important
for psychologists. The Psychology Department is committed to
preparing each student for the next step, which may be employment
or graduate school, in his or her journey.
