CONFERENCES AND LECTURES: The following are regularly scheduled lectures through which DWU or other groups bring outside speakers to campus. The purpose of these is to be of interest and service to area residents and leaders as well as DWU students. Dakotas Conference School of Mission (July) - This
summer conference is an opportunity to learn more about the mission of
the church in the current world context. Each session focuses on
three areas: spiritual growth, geographic insights and general issues. Opperman Distinguished Alumni Lecture Series - Each year Dakota Wesleyan University features a graduate who shares a message of service and sacrifice with another generation of students, staff, faculty and the community.
