Thomas' Travel Photos
Thomas Garng Madut was born in Turalie, Sudan, in 1985. When he was
little more than a toddler, his childhood was interrupted by a government
sponsored attack on his village. In their haste to escape, families
were separated, and many people were murdered.
Learn STRONG 
In our home, we post the family photos, the “A” papers
and the great artwork on the refrigerator. It displays all the things
we’re most proud of and want to share with our guests. We’d
like to share with you what would be on DWU’s refrigerator.

in rural South Dakota raised in the Great Depression, ever dreamt the
path his life would take. Did he envision a United States Senate seat
