Dream Action Workshop. A key to becoming a successful entrepreneur is knowing how to find and take advantage of opportunities. In this workshop attendees will learn a time-tested formula for uncovering problems, creating profitable business opportunities that solve those problems, and evaluating their validity in the marketplace. Whether they currently have an idea or not, this workshop will show attendees how to know whether their current business or potential business is just a good idea or whether it’s a viable business opportunity. Attendees will leave this workshop with clarity on a subject that causes many existing entrepreneurs stress and many aspiring entrepreneurs to get started. This is great for audiences who are interested in starting a business, but don’t know where to start. This workshop is intended primarily for students.

This session with give you an overview of the resources available to you right here in South Dakota. The Small Business Development Center Network is more than just business plan and financial projections assistance. The SBDC is a business resource network for entrepreneurs that can start at the idea stage all the way through growth and expansion of a business. This workshop is intended for all participants.

Thinking about or currently working on your business plan for The Governor’s Giant Vision Student Competition? This session will offer students tips on how to write a winning business plan and how to deliver an appealing presentation on their business idea. Past Giant Vision judges will guide students through the ins and outs of how to properly present their business plan. This workshop is intended for all participants.

In this session you will learn how to effectively and easily predict a business’ success, how to use web tools and offline strategies to effectively promote a business, and strategies for effortlessly getting new customers to buy your products. You will eave this program knowing exactly how to evaluate the potential of a business idea, how to run a business that looks like a Fortune 500 company for less than $25 a month, new strategies that the super successful are using to get a flood of new clients to buy their products/services, and a (free) technique to easily get their business on to the first page of a Google search. This is a great option for more advanced audiences who are ready to launch a new business or take their current business to the next level. This workshop is intended primarily for students.
