The U.S. Army ROTC Program
Army
ROTC is the best leadership course in America and we're looking for scholars,
athletes and leaders to become future Army officers. The program is based
on college electives and activities that you take right along with your
other classes.
But ROTC is like no other class you'll take!
In Army ROTC, you develop your leadership abilities. There are activities
such as rappelling and survival training to help increase your self-confidence
and discipline. Your studies may include time management, communications,
and small-group decision-making. Ultimately, you'll learn about the Army
and what it takes to become an officer.
When you're finished, you'll have earned your degree and the impressive
leadership credentials of an Army officer, as well as opportunities for
rewarding service.
The
U.S. Army ROTC 4-Year Scholarship
Army ROTC scholarships cover tuition and fees, room and board, and they
provide an allotment to pay for books ($1200) as well as a monthly allowance
of spending money that increases each year starting at $300 as a Freshman
and increases to $500 as a Senior.
These scholarships can be used while pursuing ANY Academic Major
offered at Dakota Wesleyan University.
The benefits of an Army ROTC scholarship go far beyond financial. By
taking Army ROTC, students develop skills that will help them better survive
the rigors of college life, and prepare them for future success both in
their initial military service and beyond into civilian positions.
