Graduate Program

The Master of Arts in education offers a broad-based and constructivist philosophy of instructional pedagogy. The program is designed to serve the region’s educational communities. Students complete a minimum of 36 coursework credit hours. Students will choose to prepare a research thesis and defend it, take a comprehensive examination, or prepare a rigorous proposal.

There are four concentrations in the Master of Arts program:

• Curriculum and Instruction
• Secondary Certification and Degree
• K-12 Principal Certification and Degree
• Educational Policy and Administration
