Mateya joined the admissions staff in July 2010. She is a graduate of Augustana College in Sioux Falls, with a degree in business/communication. Originally from Wagner, S.D., she lives near Parkston with her husband. In her spare time, Mateya enjoys spending time with her husband and her family, exercising, watching sports (especially Duke basketball), shopping and working on her new home.

Mateya has the opportunity to work with students from western and central South Dakota, and the state of Nebraska.

She is excited to work with students and their families, as well as becoming involved in the Dakota Wesleyan community.
