Mateya joined the admissions staff in July 2010. She is a graduate of Augustana College, in Sioux Falls, with a degree in business/communication. Originally from Wagner, S.D., she lives near Parkston with her husband and young sons. In her spare time, Mateya enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, watching sports (especially Duke basketball), and shopping.

Mateya has the opportunity to work with students from central South Dakota, and the state of Nebraska.

She enjoys working with students and their families, as well as being involved in the Dakota Wesleyan community.
