Debra
McKelvey Cheeseman
Debra McKelvey Cheeseman, a 1989 DWU graduate, was a four-year
starter in volleyball earning All-SDIC for three seasons. Cheeseman
was a three-year starter in basketball earning All-SDIC in 1989.
She averaged 17 points and 9.5 rebounds as a senior. In track and
field, she earned All-Conference honors in the javelin and the discus.
She set a school record in the javelin. In all, Cheeseman earned
12 varsity letters at DWU. |

Troy
Loudenburg
Troy Loudenburg, a 1988 DWU graduate, was a four-year starter at
running back for the Tiger football team. He was a two-time All-SDIC
performer earning the honors in 1985 and 1986. He was named the
conference, district and NAIA National Player-of-the-Week after
gaining 488 all-purpose yards in a game in 1986. He ranks in the
DWU top 10 in career rushing yards. Loudenburg was also named All-SDIC
in baseball in 1985. |

Doug
Martin
Doug Martin was the head men’s basketball coach at DWU for
17 seasons. He finished his career as the second winningest coach
in school history with 252 victories. Martin led the Tigers to four
conference titles and four 20-win seasons. He led the 1995 team
to the NAIA II National Tournament. Martin was named the SDIC Coach-of-the-Year
twice and the GPAC Coach-of-the-Year in 2001. He coached 11 NAIA
All-Americans and 38 All-Conference players. He also served as a
director of athletics in the DWU athletic department. |

Robin
Morgan Moody
Robin Morgan Moody, a 1997 DWU graduate, finished her basketball
career as the sixth all-time leading scorer in DWU women’s
basketball history with 1,511 points. She was selected as an All-SDIC
performer for three seasons, earning All-SDIC Second Team in 1995
and All-SDIC First Team in 1996 and 1997. Moody was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete
as a senior in 1996-97. She becomes the fourth member of the Morgan
family inducted to the DWU Athletic Hall of Fame. |

Eric
Pulse
Eric Pulse, a 1991 DWU graduate, set seven school records in track
and field during his career. He was named the SDIC MVP at the 1990
SDIC Outdoor Championships. He led the Tigers to the first SDIC
team track championship in school history in 1990. He also helped
the team to the SDIC championship in 1991, the only two championships
in DWU history. Pulse was also a defensive back on the SDIC conference
championship football teams in 1989 and 1991. |

Mike
Rogers
Mike Rogers, a 1990 DWU graduate, scored 1,050 points in just two
seasons as a member of the DWU basketball team. He was selected
to the SDIC All-Conference Team as a junior and a senior. Rogers
was a member of the All-District 12 Team and was named to the All-South
Dakota Team. He also earned All-SDIC in 1989 and 1990 in track and
field. He set the school record in the javelin and still holds the
school record for the high jump. |
