Objective
To recognize an alumnus/alumna who has notable achievements in his/her
profession and contributions to DWU and society.
Criteria
- Graduate of DWU
- A person who has made notable accomplishments in his/her profession
- A person who has made significant contributions to society
- A person who has made financial and/or personal contributions to DWU
Information to be submitted for Alumnus/Alumna
of the Year Award
- Nomination form
- Describe how long, and in what capacity, you have known the nominee.
- Briefly describe the nominee’s notable accomplishments in his/her
profession.
- Briefly describe the nominee’s significant contributions to
society.
- Briefly describe the nominee’s financial and/or personal contributions
to DWU
- Provide specific examples of the personal qualities that make this
nominee stand out from others.
- Recommendation letters
that support the nominee are very helpful during the selection process;
thus we would ask that the nominator request two others to submit letters
of recommendation in support of the nomination. List the names and telephone
numbers of those contacted to submit letters of recommendation.
Note: Nominations can be submitted prior to the receipt of recommendation
letters.
