Objective
To recognize an alumnus/alumna who has accomplished notable service and/or
achievement in the field of education.
Criteria
- Graduate of DWU
- A person who has made significant contributions to the lives
of others through the educational process at the elementary, secondary
or higher education level.
Information to be submitted for Outstanding
Educator Award
- Nomination form
- Describe how long, and in what capacity, you have known the nominee.
- Briefly describe how the nominee has impacted the lives of others
through the educational process.
- Provide specific examples of the personal qualities that make
this nominee an outstanding educator.
- Recommendation letters that
support the nominee are very helpful during the selection process;
thus we would ask that the nominator request two others to submit
letters of recommendation in support of the nomination. List the
names and telephone numbers of those contacted to submit letters
of recommendation.
Note: Nominations can be submitted prior to the receipt of recommendation
letters.
