Nov. 3, 2007 Four Wrestlers Place at Daktronics Open Brookings, S.D. — Four Dakota Wesleyan wrestlers placed at the season opening Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open on Saturday (Nov. 3) at South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D. Todd Casselman led the DWU placers by taking third at heavyweight. Andrew Leggott (125), Jordan Harer (133) and Tony Duarte (165) all placed sixth. Casselman finished 2-1 on the day to take third place. Leggott was 3-2 and lost to Sid Bice by fall in the fifth place match. Harer also went 3-2 and dropped a 9-1 decision to Mike Engelhart from Sioux Falls. Duarte was 2-2 and lost a 7-6 decision to Terry Overton from Iowa Central Community College. Also picking up victories for DWU was Danny Hutcheson going 2-2 at 149 pounds and Zach Joslyn went 2-1 at 174 pounds. Teams competing in the Daktronics Open were Augustana, Briar Cliff, Concordia-Moorhead, Dakota Wesleyan, Iowa Central CC, Mary, Minnesota, Minnesota State, Moorhead, Minnesota West CC, Nebraska-Omaha, Northern State, Ridgewater CC, Sioux Falls and South Dakota State. Colby Covington from Iowa Central C.C. was name the Most Valuable Wrestler. Dakota Wesleyan will be back in action next weekend when they host University of Regina in a dual on Friday (Nov. 9) then host the DWU Open on Saturday (Nov. 10).
