Nov. 15, 2007 DWU Women Post Big 96-27 Win Over Nebraska Christian Mitchell, S.D. — All 14 Dakota Wesleyan players scored as the DWU women posted a big 96-27 victory over Nebraska Christian College on Thursday (Nov. 15) at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, S.D. DWU (3-3) shot 61.3 percent from the field and out rebounded the Parsons (0-3) 41-13 in the game. The Tigers scored 44 points of Nebraska Christian’s 31 turnovers and had 20 second chance points as DWU pulled down 17 offensive rebounds. Three DWU freshmen led the way with 12 points apiece. Kaylea Karst, Bri Austin and Abby Hemmer all had career highs with a dozen points. Kenzie Dvoracek scored 11 points and led the Tigers with seven rebounds. Adria Pazour also reached double figures with 10 points. Lauren Barr had a game-high 15 points to lead Nebraska Christian. The Tigers will be back at home on Saturday (Nov. 17) when they host ninth-ranked Dakota State University at 7 p.m. at the Corn Palace. |
