Mitchell, S.D. — The Dakota Wesleyan University wrestling team entered the NAIA National Rankings in the second poll of the season that was released on Thursday (Nov. 29). DWU is ranked 20th in the NAIA National Poll. DWU senior Tony Duarte is the only individual Tiger wrestler that is ranked. Duarte is ranked 7th at 165 pounds after being ranked 8th in the first poll of the season. Lindenwood University is ranked first in the NAIA poll. Three GPAC schools are also in the Top 20. Dana is ranked fourth, Morningside 11th and Northwestern is 12th. DWU travels to Moorhead, Minn., this Saturday (Dec. 1) to take part in the Dragon Open. The Tigers return home next Thursday (Dec. 6) for a pair of duals against ranked opponents. DWU will take on No. 11 Morningside at 4 p.m. in a GPAC dual then the Tigers will face No. 15 Jamestown at 7 p.m.
