April 15, 2008 DWU Men’s Golf Team Finishes Tied for Fourth FREMONT, NEB. — The Dakota Wesleyan University men’s golf team shot a 321 to place tied for fourth with Briar Cliff University at the Midland Lutheran College Men’s Invitational on Monday (April 14) at Fremont Golf Club. Hastings College won the one-day event with a team score of 311. Dordt College finished second with a team score of 317, and Wayne State College had a team score of 319 to finish in third place. Adam Fields of Wayne State was the individual medalist with a score of 73. Tom Hoek was the Tigers’ highest individual finisher. Hoek shot a 74 to finish second. The Tigers are back in action on April 21-22 when they play in the GPAC Championships in Sioux City, Iowa, at Green Valley Golf Course.
