GPAC Postseason Baseball Tournament
Moved to Hastings
SIOUX CITY, IOWA — The 2008 GPAC Postseason Baseball Tournament
has been moved from Harmodon Park in Sioux Falls, S.D. to Hastings,
Neb.
The tournament will run Thursday-Saturday, May 1-3 at Duncan Field
and Smith Complex in Hastings. The tournament schedule has been revised
to accommodate the two field format.
The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team received the fifth seed
for the tournament, and will face the fourth-seeded Midland Lutheran
College at noon on Thursday at Duncan Field. If DWU wins game one, they
will play at 4 p.m. at Smith Complex against the Northwestern College-Hastings
College winner. If the Tigers lose game one, they will play at 7 p.m.
at Smith Complex against the loser of Northwestern and Hastings in an
elimination game.
