Mar. 17, 2008 Van Dyke and Madut Compete at Midland Lutheran Half Marathon FREMONT, NEB. — Junior Isaac Van Dyke and sophomore Thomas Madut competed for the Dakota Wesleyan University men’s track team at the Midland Lutheran College Half Marathon on Saturday (March 15). Madut, a Sioux Falls native, placed 16th with a time of 1:15.21, and Van Dyke, of Chester, Mont., finished in 23rd place with a time of 1:17.10. Both runners finished with a provisional qualifying time for the 2008 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in St. Louis. The DWU track and field teams will open the outdoor season on March 20 at the Frozen Tundra Quadrangular in Orange City, Iowa. |
