Harer and Van Dyke Compete at Last Chance Meet for Tigers

MITCHELL, S.D. - Jordan Harer and Isaac Van Dyke competed for the Dakota Wesleyan University track and field at the University of Sioux Falls Last Chance Meet on Thursday (May 8).

Harer, a sophomore from Gettysburg, S.D., placed tied for fourth in the pole vault with a final jump of 12-00.00.

Junior Isaac Van Dyke, a native of Chester, Mont., competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and finished in second place with a time of 10:05.54.

DWU has three athletes that have qualified for the NAIA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships which will be held in St. Louis, Mo., on May 22-24. Thomas Madut, Isaac Van Dyke and Frank Thompson will all be competing for the Tigers at the national meet.
