General: Third-year player ... transferred to DWU before 2007-08 season from Northern State ... an All-Conference player and one of the best offensive players in the GPAC ... needs just 75 points to reach 1,000 for her Dakota Wesleyan career ... good perimeter player who also excels at posting up smaller guards ... great in the clutch, DWU’s “go-to” player ... improved her outside shot last season to expand her offensive game.
2008-09: Started 30 of the team’s 31 games ... earned All-GPAC Second-Team honors for the second straight season ... the GPAC’s eighth-leading scorer at 15.2 ppg ... eighth in the GPAC in 3-point field goals (64) and ninth in 3-point percentage (.386) ... also averaged 3.3 rebounds with 78 assists and 53 steals ... scored a career-high 35 points at Dakota State (11/18/08) ... scored 30 points at Dana (2/7/09) ... had a double-double with 21 points and a career-high 10 assists in the upset of Dickinson State (12/22/08) ... reached double figures in scoring in 27 of 30 games, topping the 20-point plateau seven times.
2007-08: Started all 32 games ... earned All-GPAC Second-Team honors ... tied for the ninth-best scoring average in the conference (14.6 ppg) ... 12th in the GPAC in assists (2.72), 11th in free-throw percentage (.755) and ninth in minutes played (29.53) ... led the Tigers in scoring, assists, 3-pointers and free throws, and was second in rebounds and steals ... scored a season-high 26 points in a win at Bethany Lutheran (Minn.) ... topped the 20-point mark seven times.
Northern State: Saw action in all 29 games as a true freshman at Northern State ... was fourth on the team in scoring ... averaged 5.7 points and 1.6 rebounds per game in 2006-07 ... was 24-for-79 from 3-point range (.304) and was 50-for-65 (.769) from the free-throw line ... led the Wolves in scoring in three games.
High School: A four-time All-State selection in basketball playing at Stickney-Mount Vernon High School ... was the 2005 Daily Republic Player-of-the-Year after averaging more than 16 points per game ... was the conference MVP during her junior and senior season ... finished her career with 1,759 points and led her team to a 114-6 overall record during her time on varsity.
Personal: Born Nov. 11, 1987 ... daughter of Kevin and Carol Johnson ... an athletic training major ... twin sister Ashley also starts for the Tigers.
