Brandon grew up in Bismarck, ND, graduating from Bismarck High School in 1999. He attended Dakota Wesleyan University from 1999-2003, graduating with a triple major in communication, human services and multimedia. While at DWU, he participated in a variety of activities including forensics and campus ministry.

Shortly after graduation, he married Vicky Peterson, a 2003 graduate of DWU with a bachelor’s degree in religion/philosophy and human services. They moved to Kentucky where Brandon earned a Master’s of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in May of 2006.

They are both excited to be back on campus, feeling that God has called them here to encourage and challenge students, staff and faulty alike to a deeper relationship with God in Jesus Christ. In their free time, Brandon and Vicky enjoy walking, geocaching, playing guitar, riding their 1997 Suzuki GSX-R 600 motorcycle, and watching movies.
