Learning, leadership, faith
and service – on and off campus
Learning, leadership, faith and service are our values – the cornerstones
of a DWU education. From the minute you step on campus, others will encourage
you to get involved. This emphasis on involvement makes for valuable friendships
with people from diverse backgrounds.
Mentoring relationships with faculty and staff advisers, as
well as with peer mentors will help you develop your skills.
With over 20 student organizations ranging from academic clubs
to a student-run newspaper, you’re sure to find something
you like.
Students also gain valuable experience by working in a number
of paid and volunteer jobs on campus. Students serve as resident
assistants, Ambassadors (orientation leaders), elected officers
in the student-run Student Association Senate, and even as liaisons
to the DWU Board of Trustees. |
