The Resume

The most logical first step in your job search is for you to develop a resume. This document is a review of your education and experience. There is no one exact perfect form for a resume but most resumes are similar. A very brief outline is provided but you should get further examples from the Career Center.

The preparation of a resume is a time for you to take stock of what you have to offer an employer. It is a time for you to review your strengths and is a tool to market your skills. Use the Career Center staff to help you proof read and provide a critique of the final product.
