The study of the fine arts provides students with the opportunity
to pursue a quality, interdisciplinary, professional undergraduate
program in the arts. It provides, within the framework of a number
of interdisciplinary programs, specific concentrations for students
whose primary interest is art, theater and music. Most importantly,
students pursuing degrees in the fine arts gain a broad understanding
of the scope of the arts and their contribution to modern society.
An appreciation and understanding of the fine arts contributes to
the aesthetic dimensions of leadership, service and stewardship within
an increasingly diverse cultural environment.
