Coffee Series to spotlight two local businessmen

Global Entrepreneurship Week began Sunday, Nov. 17, and runs through Saturday, Nov. 23. During this week The Kelley Center for Entrepreneurship at DWU will host the DWU Coffee Series, “The Power of Stories to Fuel Innovation!” The first session will beat 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, in Java City with entrepreneur, Scott Houwman, who has begun his own physical therapy business and investment company. The second session will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20, in Java City with entrepreneur, Billy Mawhiney, founder of a nonprofit, Time at the Table, as well as the local business, Get Fresh. Each session will include a free small coffee and valuable stories about how these two Mitchell residents began successful businesses.
