Program:

Scholarship value: $1,000

Elligibility:
  • High School juniors and seniors, undergrad students, and grad students

Big Sun Scholarship
Program:

$500 scholarship

Elligibility:
  • Must be a high school senior or attending a post secondary institute

Dakota Indian Foundation Scholarship
Program:

Scholarship value: $1000

Elligibility:
  • Applicant must be a full time student

John Gyles Education Awards
Program:

Scholarships up to $3,000.

Elligibility:
  • Must be enrolled full-time at a college or university program as a undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.7.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or Canada.
  • High school students may apply pending acceptance.

KeyBank Scholarship
Program:

Each month, three lucky students will win a $2,500 scholarship. Sweepstakes runs September, 2007 to August, 2008.

Herman Lerdal Scholarship
Program:

Scholarship value: $1,000

Elligibility:
  • Undergrad in Jr. year- enrolled at a SD institution
  • 3.0 GPA or higher

Nelnet Scholarship
Program:
  • 10 monthly Grand Prize scholarships, each worth up to $25,000
  • 750 First Prize scholarships, each worth $1,000

Nursing Education Assistance Loan Program
Program:
  • Loan value: up to a $1,000 per academic year
  • Used for direct educational expenses only
  • Repayment benefit for people employed in nursing in SD
Elligibility:
  • South Dakota resident
  • Be admitted into an educational program for preparation of licensed practical nurses or registered nurses, or a nursing degree enhancement program

PRIMA Scholarship
Program:

Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) – Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota Chapter

  • Scholarship value: $500
Elligibility:
  • Undergraduate or graduate student in good standing
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program which offers course work in Risk Management, Insurance, Occupational Safety, or similar studies

Scholarship value: Four at $1,000/student

Elligibility:
  • Applicant must have completed at two semesters of course work

Sallie Mae Fund Unmet Need Scholarship
Program:

Scholarships ranging:$1,000- $3,800

Elligibility:
  • Income of $30,000 or less
