DWU's short-term disability and long-term disability program is provided by The Hartford.

• Provided to employees at no cost
• Employees working 3/4-time or more are covered
• STD starts day 31 of qualified disability – used after paid leave is exhausted
• LTD starts day 185 of qualified disability
• Benefit is 60% replacement of monthly salary
