Retirement Plan - TIAA-CREF
DWU's retirement plan is provided by TIAA-CREF, the Teacher's Insurance Annuity Association - College Retirement Equities Fund.

• immediate eligibility
• 3 year vesting schedule
    -after 1 year of employment = 25% vested
    -after 2 years of employment = 50% vested
    -after 3 years of employment = 100% vested
• voluntary (employees don't have to contribute unless they wish to), contributory (DWU will contribute only if the employee does)
• life-insurance annuity plan
• DWU will match contributions of 2-5% of gross monthly salary
