11 a.m. Baccalaureate,
Sherman Center, DWU
- Graduates wear caps and gowns; line up in the Village at
10:30 a.m.
- Faculty and administrators wear regalia and line up in the
Wagner Chapel
- Speaker: President Bob Duffett
- Time: approximately one hour
2 p.m. Commencement, Corn Palace, 604
North Main Street, Mitchell
- Graduates wear caps and gowns, line up in the armory. Enter
the Corn Palace front doors and go up the stairs on the northwest
side of the lobby, near the men’s restroom. The armory
is located adjacent to the upper Corn Palace seating area.
- Students, faculty and administrators should report to the
armory by 1:15. Lineup will begin by 1:30 p.m.
- There are no tickets issued for commencement; it is first-come,
first-served, but seating is typically adequate.
- If handicapped-accessible seating is required for a family
member, please contact Emily George, ext. 2645 or emgeorge@dwu.edu.
- Speaker: Megan Clarke, Journalist for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution
- Honorary Doctorates: John Hartung and the late Vicki Clarke
- Time: 1 ½ - 2 hours

will be at commencement to take photos of the graduates. Photos
