 How to Log on to the DWU Network
1. Press the Control, Alt, and Delete keys simultaneously when the initial logon screen appears.
2. In the user name line, type your user name (the first two letters of your first name followed by up to six letters of your last name).
3. In the password line, type your password (if you are a new student and have not logged on to the network before, use your student ID number plus the four digit year of your birth).
4. The domain line should read DWU. If it does not, click on the Down Arrow located at the end of the line and choose DWU.
5. Hit the Enter key on your keyboard or choose ‘OK’ in the logon box to logon to the network.

Email Account
New students will be given a personal email account following the finalization process. Your email address will be your username@dwu.edu
.

Network Drives (On Campus Only)
H: Drive-Students will receive a Personal Network Drive to store their private items in. The Network drive is located in My Computer under Network Drives-you’ll see it named:your username on ‘dwu\dfs\studenthome’ (H:).

S: Drive-Students will receive a Shared Network Drive to store shared items for other people to access. the Network Drive is located in My Computer, under Network Drives-named:StudentPublic on ‘dwu\dfs’ (S:).

Outlook Web Access
Using Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA), you can log on to your personal account to read private
e-mail, send messages, create contacts, and schedule appointments from anywhere you have web access.

1. Open your browser (i.e. Internet Explorer or Netscape) and go to: http://www.dwu.edu

Click on Campus E-mail

The logon screen will ask for your username and password.
4. Username is the first two letters of your first name followed by up to six letters of your last name.
5. In the password line, type your password (if you are a new student and have not logged on to the network before, use your student ID number plus the four digit year of your birth).

Remember: your password is case sensitive. If you have trouble logging in, check your CAPS LOCK key and make sure it is not on. If everything is entered correctly, you will move onto the next screen, if not, you will be given another chance to enter your information.

How to Log on to Tiger Net
In the Login area, enter your DWU ID number on your ID card (the short, 5- or 6- digit number, not the barcode number) as the User ID and the last four digits of your SS# as the password, then click on Sign In!
