Pop-Up-Blocker

  • If you have a pop-up-blocker installed on your computer disable it.

Enable Browser to Accept Cookies

  • Start Internet Explorer.

  • From the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

  • Click onto the Privacy tab.

  • Change the setting to Medium or Low.

  • Click OK

Delete Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, Ect.

  • Start Internet Explorer

  • From the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

  • On the General tab, click Delete Cookies.

  • When asked if you want to delete all cookies, click OK.

  • Click Delete Files.

  • When asked if you want to delete all files, checkmark the Delete all offline content box, and click OK.

  • Click Clear History.

  • When asked if you want to delete your history, click Yes.

  • Click OK.

  • Click onto the Content tab.

  • Click AutoComplete.

  • Click Clear Forms.

  • Click Clear Passwords, and click OK.

Reset All Internet Explorer Settings to the Default

  • Start Internet Explorer.

  • From the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

  • Click onto the Security tab.

  • Select Internet, and click Default Level.

  • Select Local Intranet, and click Default Level.

  • Click onto the Privacy tab.

  • Move the slider to the Medium position.

  • Click onto the Content tab.

  • Be sure the  Content Advisor is not enabled.

  • Click onto the Programs tab.

  • Click Reset Web Settings.

  • Click onto the Advanced tab.

  • Click Restore Defaults.

  • Click OK.

Update Windows and Internet Explorer

Check for Viruses

  • Run a free virus scan from Symantec's web site http://security2.norton.com/us/home/asp to make sure a virus is not causing a problem. If the scan finds any viruses, be sure to remove them. Then make sure you have up-to-date anti-virus software and running on your computer to keep virus free.

"The page cannot be found" error

If you see the error "The page cannot be found" or "HTTP 404 - File not found" when you try to open an email in Outlook Web Access it could be because the subject of the email contains one or more of the blocked characters listed below:

  • Two periods (..) or a single period at the end of the subject
  • A period and a forward slash (./)
  • backslash (\)
  • Colon (:)
  • Percent sign (%)
  • Ampersand (&)
