Format and Rules for Team Competition

Each team will have 30 seconds to give a written response for each question to the person monitoring their team. Slips of paper have been provided for writing answers. The answer must be handed to the monitor before the 30 seconds has elapsed. There will be a 10 second warning.

After the monitors have collected the answers for a question, the emcee will announce the correct answer. Monitors for the teams with the correct answer will raise their hand, and the scorer will record the results. The monitors will also record the result for their team.

Questions will continue until 1:55 p.m. The team with the most correct responses will be the winner. In the event of any ties, there will be a series of tie-breaking questions, asked in a ‘sudden death’ format, until all ties are broken.
