Jack
Mortenson, M.Ed.Assistant Professor Computers and Multimedia Department Chair jamorten@dwu.edu (605) 995-2678 Jack Mortenson was an adjunct instructor in the computers and multimedia department for four years before joining the faculty full-time during the fall 2004 semester. Jack has worked for the past 20 years as an independent producer of videos in a business he runs with his wife, Mary. He also taught business courses at National American University in Sioux Falls for 10 years. Jack holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Sioux Falls. Like his wife, he loves to travel and is active in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church where they both sing in the choir. Together they have hosted several high school foreign exchange students in their home and placed many others. Their “sons and daughters” have come from Sweden, Netherlands, Germany and the Ukraine. Jack is a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Navy and has traveled to Asia, Europe and Africa, and hopes to one day get to Australia and South America. However, he says, he has no desire to visit Antarctica. |
