South Dakota Governor Mike RoundsMITCHELL, S.D. – South Dakota Governor Mike Rounds will attend the dedication of the George and Eleanor McGovern Library at Dakota Wesleyan University.

“We are thrilled that Governor Rounds will attend the dedication,” said DWU President Bob Duffett. “His presence will help us to honor George McGovern, one of South Dakota’s favorite sons. And, as South Dakota’s ranking public official, we hope he is pleased with the goals of the center for leadership and public service.”

Rounds will speak at the dedication ceremony which begins at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 7. This event is free and open to the public. No tickets are necessary, although provided seating is limited. Those attending the dedication are welcome to bring lawn chairs.
