May 15, 2006 DWU announces Randall Scholarships MITCHELL, S.D. – Several high school students have been offered Dakota Wesleyan University’s highest academic scholarships for the fall 2006 semester. Seven students received Randall Scholarships, the university’s
highest academic award. Randall Scholarships are awarded based on the
student’s high school GPA, an interview and essay, service activities,
and leadership potential. Randall Scholarships range from $7,500 to
full tuition, and are renewable each year for four years. Students receiving the Trustee Scholarship, ranging from $5,500 to $7,400 are: Jaclyn Bermingham, Seaside, Ore.; Amy Brickman, Wichita, Kan.; Rosalie Brueske, Forestburg; Luke Cypher, Mitchell; Jonathan Drefs, Armour; Colin Hacker, Conifer, Colo.; Laird Klippenstein, Hot Springs; Gina Klumb, Parkston; JoLynn Kopfmann, Wessington Springs; Alexander Liberty, Box Elder; Heather Love, Norfolk, Neb.; Derric Ludens, Geddes; Kristy McCormick, Canistota; Brett McFarland, Johnstown, Colo.; Justin Mitchell, Copperas Cove, Texas; Rachel Nepodal, Corsica; Angela Noteboom, Corsica; Marylu Rodriguez, Edcouch, Texas; Trisha Schleich, Mitchell; Malik Stewart, Hot Springs; and Kesha Swanson, Winner. DWU is affiliated with the Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church and offers 40 majors and minors in several liberal arts and professional fields.
