MITCHELL – DWU is sending seven students to Exploration '06, a United Methodist event designed for young adults exploring a call into the ordained ministry. The event is held every four years, this year in Jacksonville, Fla. Friday, Nov. 17 through Sunday, Nov. 19.

The students are Charity Kear, Mandan, N.D.; Amy Price, Marquette, Neb.; Robbie Salmonson, Plankinton; Taylor Johnson, Brookings; Michael Wright, Belle Fourche; Ali McCormick and Nick Gates, Mitchell.

“It is a great event for students to explore what God is calling them to do, both as a career and simply as a follower of Jesus,” said Brandon Vetter, DWU campus pastor. “It was at Exploration '98 in Los Angeles that I heard God leading me into the ordained ministry.”
