April 21, 2007 Pauley and Nebelsick named Scotchman and Miss Wesleyan
Pauley, of Barrie, Ontario Canada, was named the 69th Scotchman, and Nebelsick, of Canistota, was named the 78th Miss Wesleyan. Scotchman and Miss Wesleyan are the highest honors given to an outstanding senior man and woman. The award is based on scholarship, character and overall contributions to the university. Pauley has a major in business administration with an emphasis in management and marketing and a minor in legal studies. He plans to attend law school and focus on corporate and international law. Pauley is a member of Students in Free Enterprise and the Student Association Senate. He was on the soccer and golf teams, and was voted homecoming king. Pauley is an assistant resident director and is listed in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. He is the son of Kevin and Catherine Pauley. Nebelsick, of Canistota, has a double major in biology and math and she plans to attend optometry school in Chicago. She serves on the housing task force and the Student Ministry Council. Nebelsick is a student mentor, physiology tutor, Student Activities Board publicity chair, new student orientation leader, student ambassador and a homecoming queen candidate. She is a Randall Scholar, vice president of Phi Kappa Phi, and is listed in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. She is the daughter of Larry and Dawn Nebelsick.
