Billion to present DWU Commencement address

MITCHELL – Jack Billion, Sioux Falls, new chairman of the DWU Board of Trustees, will present the Commencement address, “A World of Tomorrow, Almost Now and Not Quite Yet,” to the Dakota Wesleyan University Class of 2007.

Commencement begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.

Billion is a veteran and a retired orthopedic surgeon. He served in the South Dakota House of Representatives and is now the chair of the South Dakota Democratic Party. Billion served on the Board of Trustees at Dakota Wesleyan University from 1986 to1993 and 1996 to present, and was recently named chairman of the board.
