Aug. 17, 2007 Listen to the Mavericks event to be held in Chamberlain
Seven of South Dakota’s top fledgling entrepreneurs will be honored as the Magnificent Seven. They are Randy Golden, Springfield; John Humphrey, Lead; Brian Klock, Mitchell; Joe Kolbach, Gary; Scott Lively, Howard; Susie Macklem, Sioux Falls; Belva Matthews, Pine Ridge; Lance Neilsen (aka Angel Dean), Sioux Falls; and Jim and Nancy Schade, Volga. Honorees were selected for their contributions to their local economies and culture, and their innovative risk taking. Attendees will hear from the Magnificent Seven award winners. The luncheon will feature Bernie Hunhoff of South Dakota Magazine and Johnny Brockelsby, Reptile Gardens, highlighting tales of South Dakota entrepreneurship. The afternoon will consist of two panel discussions. One panel will cover the topic of identifying the entrepreneurs in your community, and the other will focus on helping your local entrepreneurs succeed.
