Dec. 10, 2007 DWU hires Theresa Kriese as new VP
MITCHELL – Theresa Kriese will become the vice president for business and finance at Dakota Wesleyan University in January. “I am so pleased that the best candidate for this position was right here in Mitchell,” said Bob Duffett, DWU president. “Theresa’s experience at MTI will allow her to hit the ground running at Wesleyan. The fact that her higher education finance experience was gained right here in South Dakota is a real plus for us.” Kriese has been the vice president for administrative services at Mitchell Technical Institute since 1994. Her responsibilities include managing MTI’s $8.1 million budget, overseeing human resources activities, and coordinating all construction and remodeling projects. Kriese also has duties with the Mitchell School District and is a member of the district’s executive management team. Kriese earned her bachelor’s degree at Northern State University, Aberdeen, and her M.B.A. at the University of Sioux Falls. She and her husband, Rick, live in Mitchell and have two children. |
