Dakota Wesleyan University student Pankaj Karki of Kathmandu, Nepal, shows John Paul II sixth grade students in Elizabeth Schroeder's class how to write their name in Karki's language. Karki and Siddartha Sayami, also of Kathmandu, and a student at DWU, spoke about their culture and agriculture and answered questions. Nine students from Nepal are currently attending DWU as part of the international student program. John Paul II will host a cultural fair at 1 p.m. Oct. 12 at the school. |
