April 30, 2008 Faculty promotions announced
MITCHELL, S.D. – Don Watt, vice president for academic affairs and dean, recently announced the faculty promotions at Dakota Wesleyan University. Lori Bork, department of nursing since 2001, was granted tenure. She earned her associate degree from DWU, and her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from South Dakota State University. Rebecca Feaster, department of education since 2002, was promoted to professor and granted tenure. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois (Urbana), master’s degrees from the University of Illinois and the University of Montana, and her Doctor of Education degree from the University of South Dakota. Elizabeth Hoffman, department of nursing since 1990, was granted tenure. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and her master’s degree from South Dakota State University. Gloria Leonard, department of education since 1983, was promoted to professor. She earned her bachelor’s degree from DWU, her master’s degree from Highlands University and her Doctor of Education degree from the University of South Dakota. Randall Sprung, department of behavioral sciences since 1980, was promoted to associate professor. Sprung earned his bachelor’s degree from DWU and his master’s degree from the University of Nebraska. |
