Mission Team to hold Valentine’s Banquet fundraiser

MITCHELL – Dakota Wesleyan University students who will be traveling to Tanzania as part of a mission trip in May will hold a Valentine’s Day banquet and silent auction at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16 in the East Main Dining Room in Rollins Campus Center.

The mission team will serve the meal and conduct silent auctions. They will share their plans for the upcoming trip and review what was accomplished during last year’s trip.

Tickets are $20 per person and are available from the team leaders, Brandon Vetter, campus pastor, and Sally Wickware-Thompson, campus counselor.

All proceeds from the banquet and auction will be used for the mission projects in Tanzania.
