Mar. 28, 2008 Hadrick voted president-elect of SDCPA
MITCHELL, S.D. — Susie Hadrick, Dakota Wesleyan University, was voted president-elect of the South Dakota College Personnel Association (SDCPA) at their 2008 meeting. Hadrick has served as the director of residential life, student activities and security at DWU since 2004. Hadrick will officially assume the office during the summer board meeting in May, at which time she will resign her current position as private-university representative on the executive board. The primary duty of the president-elect is to plan and organize the annual mid-winter conference, to be held in February at Cedar Shore Resort in Chamberlain. Hadrick is a previous winner of the Marcus Boesen Memorial Award, an award presented to a SDCPA member who shows outstanding contributions to the overall development of students, to their educational institution, and to SDCPA and student affairs. “I am honored to hold this position and I am looking forward to working on and planning the mid-winter conference,” said Hadrick. “SDCPA is a great organization that was an invaluable resource to me as I began my career in student affairs. It is a wonderful networking and idea resource. I would encourage all student affairs professionals to take advantage of membership in this organization.” |
