May 8, 2008 Wesleyan students attend PBL leadership conference MITCHELL, S.D. — Dakota Wesleyan University students participated in business competitions at the Phi Beta Lambda Spring Leadership Conference April 3 and 4 at the MTI Technology Center. Those who placed and qualified for national competition are:
Students can select from approximately 50 competitive individual, team and chapter events. The DWU chapter is advised by Jerry Luckett. The South Dakota Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference is a structured, two-day meeting that included business and leadership training workshops, event competition and the election of state officers. Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda (www.fbla.org) is a non profit vocational student organization that prepares students for careers in business and business education. |
