LifeLight concert tour at DWU

Click HEREMITCHELL – DWU will host a LifeLight Concert Tour at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30 in the Sherman Center on the DWU campus. Tickets are $5 in advance and $10 at the door. Advance tickets are available at the DWU bookstore located in the McGovern Library.

Headlining the concert is Phil Joel. After twelve years of touring the world as part of the Contemporary Christian band Newsboys, Phil Joel stepped down from his role as bass player and support vocalist to focus on the ministry that had started in 2005, deliberatePeople.

Joining Joel on the tour is Pete Good. “Smooth, artistic, unique, well crafted” are just a few of the labels that the industry and fans have used to qualify Pete’s sound. His soft, moody and sometimes brooding vocals allow him to stand alone as one of the top newcomers to Christian music.

The final member of the tour is Angel Dean, an internationally recognized solo artist. Though Angel has been enjoying success touring for many years, he views himself as a “Musicianary” (music missionary), then a recording artist.

Advance tickets are also available at Pizza Ranch and Mitchell Christian School. Sponsors include Food for the Hungry and Pizza Ranch. For more information on the tour, visit www.lifelight.org/tours/upcoming-tours/fall-tour-08.
